Congratulations to the Rx Kids communications team on winning a Silver ADDY® award for its online interactive website for consumers from the American Advertising Federation Greater Flint

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting nearly 30,000 entries every year in local AAF Club competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.

“The Rx Kids communications team and our creative partners are honored to be recognized by the American Advertising Federation,” said Jill Vondrasek, Rx Kids Communications Director. “When launching the website, our goals included strengthening the brand, bringing awareness to the universal cash prescription program within the community, and celebrating pregnancy by dressing local Flint residents in red to represent love and thriving futures in our photo and video imagery.”

The 2024 American Advertising Awards of the Greater Flint Chapter was held on Friday, February 23, at the Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, MI. More than 100 entries were submitted by creative agencies, in-house communications departments, and advertising professionals throughout mid-Michigan.

“We’re extremely proud to have the Rx Kids website acknowledged by our peers as deserving of this award,” stated Brian Sanderson, Vice President of Olmsted Associates, Inc., whose firm assisted in the design and development of the site. “This recognition speaks volumes about the team’s unwavering commitment to crafting a compelling and meaningful online experience for Flint residents seeking information and enrollment in this groundbreaking new program.”

Since it was launched on December 15, 2023, the website has garnered nearly 20,000 users. On January 10, the day enrollment began, there was a surge of more than 3,700 visitors.
